PETITION: Support Catholic Bishop who is calling for a boycott on LGBT 'Pride'

The Catholic prelate of Providence, Rhode Island, Bishop Thomas Tobin, is calling on Catholics to avoid supporting or attending so-called 'pride' events, during the month of June.
For stating the obvious, Bishop Tobin is now being attacked online, and protested by LGBT activists, offline.
In response to all of the negative feedback the good bishop has received, please show your support BY SIGNING THIS PETITION  and stand up for a senior cleric who is actually using his office to teach and defend his flock against the degrading moral 'culture' of so-called 'pride' and the LGBT agenda.
On Saturday afternoon, Bishop Tobin tweeted a message to help guide his flock on this matter, simply stating: "A reminder that Catholics should not support or attend LGBTQ “Pride Month” events held in June. They promote a culture and encourage activities that are contrary to Catholic faith and morals. They are especially harmful for children."
If anyone has ever seen the some of degrading things done at so-called 'pride' events in the name of sexual license, you know how dangerous these events can be to children's innocence and understanding of human nature, nevermind that of the adult participants!
Since it would be dangerous to faith and morals to show, in pictures, the display of depravity which one can easily witness at a LGBT parade, we will refrain from doing so.
In the wake of the controversy surrounding his guidance not to support or attend 'pride' events, Bishop Tobin issued a qualifying statement, which was posted on the diocesan website: "The Catholic Church has respect and love for members of the gay community, as do I," and "individuals with same-sex attraction are beloved children of God and our brothers and sisters."
"As a Catholic Bishop, my obligation before God is to lead the faithful entrusted to my care and to teach the faith, clearly and compassionately, even on very difficult and sensitive issues. That is what I have always tried to do – on a variety of issues – and I will continue doing so as contemporary issues arise."
Bishop Tobin needs our support for his clear guidance and directness in dealing with one aspect of the moral decadence of our age.
Please SIGN and SHARE this urgent petition and show your support now!
FOR MORE INFORMATION:
Bishop Tobin's guidance to his flock is in-line with what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says on homosexuality (quoted here):
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
