Are aliens demons?

Disclosure Day will mess with Christian’s Faith – Really?

Steven Spielberg, whilst discussing his new film Disclosure Day, about aliens and intelligent life beyond Earth, has said that it will challenge and may even destroy what Christian’s believe. Why just Christians, and why didn’t he suggest this with his other films, such as Close Encounters and others? Spielberg seems to be obsessed with aliens. Also, why not other films and books, such as The War of the Worlds or 2001, etc how come these did not destroy Christian belief?

The film’s main character, played by Emily Blunt, an ex-nun in the story, questions her beliefs and loses her faith. This has had many Christians accuse Spielberg of trying to destroy Christianity. Spielberg, a Jew, hardly ever mentions Christianity in his movies; in fact, Hollywood films for the most part ignore Christianity except to attack it or make horror films about nuns. Could it be that because there is a large Jewish presence in Hollywood and therefore Christianity doesn’t figure, they make films for a Christian audience but not positive films about us?

Do aliens exist?

Let’s look at the facts: 1) There is no evidence of intelligent alien life in our solar system. 2) The closest star to our sun is called Proxima Centauri, which is 4.25 light-years away, about 25 trillion miles away. If the Earth were the size of a pea, the distance to Proxima would be the same as from New York to Sydney, and scientists do not believe there is any life associated with Proxima. 3) The Galaxy is vast, and the distances are too big for anything to cross. The Universe is expanding faster than the speed of light, and nothing can travel faster than that, so it is impossible for anything to get here if it exists. 4) Scientists have been trying since the 50s to detect signals from another alien civilisation, but none have been found.

So what are all these UFOs?

Many scientists explain UFOs as being natural phenomena or psychological effects. Some are just bright lights, such as the planet Venus, optical illusions, camera lens effects, or even hallucinations. Many today are, you guessed it, drones!

Are they demons?

Some suggest that beings (if they actually exist) that look like aliens could be the result of demonic activity. Washington’s archbishop, Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington, on the 3rd June 2026, removed the diocese exorcist, Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, for suggesting that UFOs and aliens could be demonic activity, as this does not comply with the Church’s teachings. However, Cardinal McElroy is often at odds with the Church’s teachings on matters of sexuality, particularly homosexual activity, so perhaps he should dismiss himself while he is at it?

Conclusion

I very much doubt the existence of aliens or, at the very least, the ability of UFOs to travel from another planetary system. Therefore, aliens do not exist outside of fiction, but demons do. People who claim that Christian’s faith will be shattered because of Spielberg’s film are delusional; perhaps the film is dangerous by being demonic?
